Short Bio:

Georgia Koutsandria is a Postdoc researcher at the Computer Science Department of University of Rome "La Sapienza", Italy. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of Rome "La Sapienza" (2018). She received her M.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2014 from the University of California, Davis, USA, and her Diploma degree (5 years program) in Electronic and Computer Engineering from the Technical University of Crete, Chania, Greece in 2012. In 2017, she was a visiting scholar at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Northeastern University, Boston, USA. Her research interests concern cross-layer approaches that are energy-harvesting and wake-up radio enabled for green wireless networks. She is the PI of a Sapienza research grant for young researchers on green wireless networks.
