Short Bio:

Donatella Ermini received the M.S. degree in 2006 and Ph.D. degree in 2011 from University of Pisa, Italy. Her recent research is on MAC protocols for dynamic spectrum access and cognitive radio networks, with particular emphasis on cross-layer approach. She also has background on traffic scheduling algorithms in OFDMA systems, and real-time traffic scheduling in WiMAX networks. In 2004 she has been a contract holder at the University of Perugia, Italy, working on e-learning and virtual reality applications. In 2007, she joined the Internet Services Technology Centre at the National Research Council (CNR) in Pisa, Italy, as a co-leader of the “PEC – Posta Elettronica Certificata” project. She has been a visiting scholar researcher in 2010 at the Department of Electrical Engineering, University at Buffalo, SUNY, USA. She is a member of the SENSES Lab at the University of Rome "La Sapienza", Italy, as a postdoctoral research fellow.
